Susanne is the founder and owner of A World of Respect, a respect-based counseling and psychotherapy practice that helps couples, families, groups and individuals of all ages improve their relationships and behavioral and emotional conflicts at home, school, work and play. Her clientele include people who have or are experiencing relational difficulties, depression, sexual abuse, child behavioral issues, anxiety and other mental health issues.
She has a Masters degree from Wright State University, 1976, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. she has worked as a mental health clinician in various inpatient and outpatient settings, private practice and nonprofits for 28 years.
On a more personal side Susanne is married to Redge Westbrook, JD, has a grown stepson. Living in Austin TX, she enjoys painting, reading, writing, traveling, good food, good movies and good friends. She has Cerebral Palsy and uses a power wheelchair for her primary mobility. She also has a deep faith in God and a deep passion for respect to be shared by all throughout the world.
