Susanne has been practicing psychotherapy since 1984.  She has had a variety of professional experiences including working in nonprofit organizations as well as in-patient and out-patient clinical settings.

She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Seton Hill College and her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Wright State University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist who is also a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the Austin Association of Play Therapy.

Despite the limitations of having cerebral palsy, Susanne lives a full life. She enjoys painting, sailing, jazz, good food, good movies, and good company. She lives in Austin with her husband and stepson.
